Considered to be one of the most exotic beaches on the Costa Rican Gold Coast, Playa Conchal is situated in the north of Guanacaste province on the shores of the Pacific Ocean. A fabulous beach that has near perfect weather all year long, Playa Conchal, is bathed in sunshine most of the time, with over 10 hours of daylight from December to April. The water here always remains at a comfortable temperature and is ideal for swimming or snorkeling.

It's worth the walk from Brasilito! Especially if you enjoy Pina coladas. They are made fresh and served in the pineapple. Water shoes are recommended for this beach.

One of the most beautiful beaches in the area. The white sand and shell beach with clear calm water is perfect for bathing. Lava rock formations on one end are a great place for some beginner snorkling. The local food and drink vendors keep the place jumping! A great day trip. Walk down to Mama Rosa’s in Puerto Viejo on one end, grab a grilled lobster or snapper from Big Mama on the other end, get an ocean side massage and finish the day watching the sunset from Indira bar in Brasilito!

Very special and one of the most beautiful beaches in the country, it’s unique feature: white shells instead of sand! They have now closed the beach access via Brasilito to Conchal for cars, for the public, there is only one way to get to Conchal and it’s by walking across Brasilito beach. You have two options: Option 1: Park your car in Brasilito town and walk. There is no secure parking lot, it is just street parking. Option 2: Park your car in the secured lot right outside Brasilito town and take the shuttle to Brasilito. You will still need to walk across the beach to get to Conchal but this parking is free, secure with cameras, a security guard and there are bathrooms, showers and changing rooms.
