We uber from the airport for under $15, then pick up a car from these marvelous people, it is 40% less without the airport tax, quite close to home, they are easygoing about free upgrades, then, we return it there or to the airport... This saves the madness of shuttle buses to the rental car center and all that extra time.

We have found that the Avis here is much more reasonable than at the airport; no big lines and you can walk to pick up your car (about 15 minute) or take a Lyft.
