This is perhaps mine and my husband's most favorite restaurant in the world! Only about a 30 min drive from Loreto Apruntino, Fungarolo is an agritourismo, so what is served at the table is made on premises from their own produce (of very very nearby). It's home-style cooking and very affordable. Our favourite is the sheep's ricotta ravioli with porcini mushrooms and LOTS OF TRUFFLE (found by dad in the nearby forest, of course) for about €5 a serve!! It's great to go here on a clear day to take advantage of the views. If you drive past the restaurant, further up the mountain there are some great walks/hikes and a lovely plateau to see.
