If you like craft beers and hidden breweries, then Hop Nation is the place for you. Set back from the river down a small laneway, most visitors to the area wouldn't know this place exists.

Footscray goes hipster...our first microbrewery. How more hipster can you be with an old warehouse, a dark industrial estate and onsite food trucks.

Open on weekends only and a great place to kick off a Footscray Pub Crawl late avo. Jedi Juice is a popular drop and my personal favourite or grab a tasting paddle meet some locals and their dogs.

Fence-jumping winemakers Sam Hambour and Duncan Gibson inspected just one site for their brewery. It’s easy to see why. The former soap, candle and ammunition factory was built in the 1880s and features decorative brick arch work and a 10-metre-high pitched roof.
