Here in st Kilda it's easy to get distracted by the alluring aromas and bright lights of it's restaurants and bars... I know I have lost years there. This pretty botanical garden is a beautiful natural enigma to stumble upon... with a picnic a rug and a bottle of wine or not... the flowers will get you drunk anyway.

A beautiful green oasis to wander around. Pick up some cakes and a coffee on your way from one of the famous cake shops in Acland Street. Enjoy them in a shady spot under the trees or by the lake.
