A experiência é composta por duas partes, em que na primeira é feita uma visita guiada à nossa exploração de cabras de leite, onde os hóspedes irão interagir e conhecer todos os animais adultos e suas crias. Também será explicado todo o maneio e cuidados que temos na Quinta. No fim desta visita irá haver uma pequena surpresa aos visitantes preparada por nós e pelos nossos animais. Na segunda parte da experiência irá ser oferecido um delicioso pequeno almoço típico composto por diversos tipos de pães, doces caseiros e queijos, entre outras iguarias tradicionais da nossa terra. We'll meet at the Black Sand Box office or at the beach, best for the day. At the surfschool van we grab our gear and head out to a secluded area with plenty of great beginner waves. The lesson starts on the sand, where I’ll teach you surf techniques and the important things you need to know to be safe and successful at surfing. I’ll also cover local surf culture and etiquette so that you stay on the right side of your fellow surfers. When ready, we’ll paddle out and spend the rest of our time in the ocean, enjoying the Azorean waves! Before every lesson I look at the surf forecast and make sure it is safe for first timers. Have in mind that the MEETING POINT/LOCATION and START TIME for this experience might vary depending on the surf conditions and the low tide of the day. Other things to note Black Sand Box (Surf) is licensed by the Government of the Azores as a tourist maritime operator (OMT-16/2018). We have insurances of civil liability and personal accident!

Ali will teach you the insider secrets of how to prepare the perfect Gin & Tonic, featuring Baleia Gin. In this cruise, you will sail till the best point to see the sunset, depending on the weather/sea/wind conditions it´s possible to swim in the ocean just before the sunset, from June to August. With our professional crew, you can also learn a little bit about the sailing process. It will be offered some snacks with regional products and white wine or other drinks ( not im 2021). In the way back you will see the city by night ( if possible)! Tips are welcome to the crew!

Our first spot of the tour we can see two of the best beaches in the country for surfing (Santa Barbara beach and Monte Verde beach). We also can see a wide view of the entire city of Ribeira Grande and the beautiful green mountains. Our nexts spots you will see fantastic caves sculpted by our volcanoes, the Ribeirinha lighthouse, the old abandoned "Porto de Santa Iria", a beach hidden that is only visited by surfers most passionate about the sport, and finally the famous "Praia dos Moinhos" in Porto Formoso. SMS | Actividade de pintura sobre azulejo, seguindo as técnicas tradicionais, com a duração de 1h30 minutos. Pretende obter um produto executado pelo próprio que tenha o cariz de recordação. Obtendo-se assim uma experiência única de aprendizagem e partilha através do processo decorativo da cerâmica, com enquadramento teórico sobre azulejaria tradicional. Este encontro culminará com um objecto “souvenir”, que pode ser alusivo às ilhas, criado pelo próprio no local de viagem! Dado o processo da cerâmica requerer cozedura à volta dos 1000ºC, o trabalho será entregue ao seu criador 2 dias após a execução. The perfect tour to start your trip on São Miguel island. After being collected from your accommodation, begin your tour of the beautiful natural landmarks of São Miguel. Discover a region abundant with beautiful scenery, lush landscapes, and fantastic viewpoints. Take a tour of Plantações de Chá Gorreana, the oldest tea plantations in Europe. See the oldest fields of tea in Europe, and whilst at the plantation, you can sample the tea for free and roam around the fields. After that, head to Furnas to explore the valley and take a dip in the hot springs to relax a bit and connect with nature. After visiting the hot springs, stop for lunch in Furnas. Try the famous 'cozido' with mixed meats and vegetables or many of the other options on the menu. After lunch, we will visit Furnas Lake and roam around a bit to enjoy the surroundings. Also, a visit to an old gothic chapel is scheduled, the 'Nossa Senhora das Vitórias' chapel. When the visit to the lagoon is finished it's time to head to Vila Franca to have a look at the world-famous islet. Aqui estabelecemos uma quinta em modo de produção biológica, para nosso sustento e comercialização de produtos. No início do passeio será fornecida uma cesta para que ao longo do percurso possam colher frutas e legumes da época. O passeio consiste numa caminhada de mais ou menos 1 Km pelos pomares, pastagens, mata e jardins da quinta onde podem conhecer e alimentar alguns exemplares da raça bovina dos Açores, ovelhas, gansos patos e galinhas, criados livremente. Durante o passeio será descrita alguma da história secular da quinta, os métodos de pastoreio e produção biológica e as diferentes culturas desenvolvidas, tal como toda variedade de fauna e flora presente.

Explore the highlights of the Eastern half of São Miguel island in a small group van tour (8 people max) led by a local expert guide!
