The owners are a chef and bartender and you will find them each in the kitchen and behind the bar. Bar Kismet offers plenty of seafood and amazing original and classic cocktails.

Amazing food and drinks. Little Oak has an ever changing small plates menu and fantastic drinks and wine. One of the only places that I would recommend that is 'downtown'.

Run by Laurant Marcel this is a classic French Bakery. Croissants, Pain au Chocholat, Tarts, bread and coffee. By far the best in the city and only half a block away! Go here for breakfast and coffee, or a daytime break. You will not be disappointed.

Take out with heart, a new lunch and dinner place that aims to be accessible to both the new and long standing residents of this great part of Halifax. Amazing fish tacos, fish and chips, and fried chicken at reasonable prices. Breakfast sandwich is the best in the city.
