Hard to believe, but if you walk through the Abbotsford Convent onto the riverbank, you’ll find yourself in dense bushland about a 10-minute walk from here. You can walk along the river towards the city, or up towards Merri Creek and it feels like you’re a million miles from the city.
Excellent for a jog along the bush paths too.
