Transportation
If you aren't renting a car here are some options for getting here from the airport and for getting around once you are here.
Colectivos are informal taxis that run between Potrero and Tamarindo. Just stand by the road and flag down any car that beeps its horn at you or flashes its lights. They charge between 1 and 2 thousand colones depending on the distance you want to go.
