Playa Dominical is a beautiful beach to enjoy yourself, where you can also find bars & restaurants. There are also some other lovely beaches in the bay such as Playa Dominicalito, Playa Piñuelas or Playa Ventanas and its caves.
The small town is also a great spot on the Pacific Coast to surf, even for beginners, to enjoy the natural area and wildlife (such as monkeys, toucans and sloths), to go on adventure tour like rafting, kayaking or zip-lining.

The bird sanctuary was created by Dr. Alexander Skutch and is located in Quizarra, in Perez Zeledon. It also has a museum of belongings this prolific ornithologist, surrounded by a botanical garden.

The six cottages and six pool view room are very nice and comfortable. Within the gardens surrounding the lodge you will find an orchid garden and a bird watching tower.

Topolandia is an impressive underground archaeological museum. It is made of a tunnel, caverns, Underground Mansion, excavated with only a shovel, sacho, all the elaboration is natural and handcrafted.
Its walls are decorated with relief sculptures of the same material. It has water springs that come out of the depth, rooms, bathroom and sanitary service, a large room that can fit about 20 people, and its depth is 6 meters underground. It has 12 doors, several windows, natural light and fresco.

Uvita is know for being the town next to the national park Marino Ballena.
The park covers 44.5 terrestrial hectares (110 acres) and 2175 marine hectares (5375). It is also home to the largest coral reef on the Pacific Coast of Central America. There are great boat tours available that can bring you up close with the abundant marine life (responsively). You pass by beautiful beaches and will snorkel between colorful fish above the reef. But most impressing are the sightings of the dolphins & whales.
