Neighborhoods
This is a pretty quiet neighborhood. There is a nice park, a wildlife zone, an ice cream store, a local burger place, and a bakery all within a 15 minute walk. There are multiple city bus stops close by which can take you all around town for a small fee.

Sightseeing
If you have time to drive out to white sands, I highly recommend it. it is about an hour drive from Las Cruces, but is such a unique experience. If you so go, early morning is best, and make sure you take lots of water and sunscreen.

The Rio Grande only flows a few months out of the year. When it is flowing, it is a great putting, and even when the river is not flowing, this is a lovely park.

Super friendly service and a variety of Thai cuisine, including vegetarian options. This restaurant is in historic Mesilla which is a lovely place to visit.

La Posta is a bit of a tourist attraction, but that doesn't mean the food isn't amazing. The atmosphere is great -they have birds and fish to watch in the waiting area. The posole is to die for.
