Restaurants in and around Vilamoura and Loule
You will find an abundance of bars and restaurants in the Marina, which is just 2.5km form the house.
Depending on what you fancy we can recommend an amazing Chinese called “Zu Yi” which is near the Tivoli hotel the food is amazing and not too expensive. Next door but one is a great steak house called “Rare”where you will have a huge choice of different cuts cooked to perfection.
A short walk round to the opposite side of the Marina is “News Cafe” where they serve the best cocktails and have a list as long as your arm.
The Mexican a few doors down is also very good but a little pricey.
Maybe a trip to Loule to visit “Villa 11” the best tapas around and very reasonably priced.
Here you will also find some traditional Portuguese restaurants that are no frills but incredible food, a few for you to google......Churrasqueira Angolana, Restaurant Bocage, Bica Velha. ENJOY

Loule is an historic market town that hosts a market every Saturday from 7am until 1pm you will find stall upon stall of home grown produce including a wide variety of fruit and vegetables, local honey from up in the mountains, chorizo sausage, freshly made goats cheese, and maybe even the odd bottle of fire water.
The old market building is home to a wonderful fish market scattered with small stalls run by locals selling their wares.
Every two years in Loule they hold a white night where the whole town is draped in white with twinkle lights every where, there is music at every turn, wonderful food and drinks, and everyone is dressed head to toe in white, its a site to be seen.
February hosts the carnival with floats and dancers that could have arrived from Rio...
Something you may want to go to is the Gypsy Market held on a Saturday that brings tourists by the coach load, worth a visit for your holiday souvenirs.

Quarteria is a busy town all year round, it has a lovely promenade with loads of bars and restaurants to choose from, there is a fish market and the beach stretches for miles.
Every Wednesday there is a gypsy market where you can get your Portuguese souvenirs, and nearer the town the flower market which is a site to be seen and smells gorgeous.
You will find a few good sized supermarkets including Pingo Dolce, Continente & Lidl that are all just a short 5/10 min drive from the resort.
