This beach is patrolled (with red and yellow flags) for swimming during the Summer and Easter holidays. A small canteen sells fabulous iced-coffee.
The surf club is also a great place for a family meal.

On the way stop for a coffee at Wye River cafe, then Kennett River to view koalas near the Koala cafe and Apollo Bay for fish and chips at the wharf. If you have time, include a walk to She Oak Falls (near Lorne) on the way home.
