Food Scene
Here are some recommendations for places to eat:
There are 2 Restaurants in Clube Albufeira.
2 minutes walk from the apartment you can find "Casa Azul" Restaurant, there is a swimming pool, music, and a good view of the valley. They serve Italian food. The pizzas are very good, but the pasta is nothing special, at least last year. They also serve breakfast.
Then closer to the reception, you can find the Restaurant "O Pavilhão", normally good Portuguese food (the octopus is amazing), with live music on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. They also serve decent breakfast.
"A Cocheira" is a good restaurant, we have been some times in the past and also ordered food to pick up. (They don't deliver)
"Riviera" is a coffee shop, amazing to have breakfast.
There is a big selection of cakes, pastries, sandwiches, etc.
If you enter and go to the back, you can seat outside with a nice view of the swimming pool.
"A Casa do Avô", it's an amazing place for Lunch and very good Portuguese food. There is a very big selection of different starters and the mains are big portions. This is one of our favourites because of the food.
Restaurant Mirante 3, this restaurant is 5 minutes drive, very cheap and the food is very good. It's a very traditional restaurant from the old times, so don't expect much from the looks. But it's very good homemade food. We always go there when we are there.

Beaches
Here are some beache recommendations:
Santa Eulalia beach has easy parking, easy access and a nice restaurant for sunset drinks & food on the left hand side:

We often go to Praia da Gale (again good parking & wide beaches)

Another beautiful spot is Benagil beach, they do fab tours of caves. Also great for kids
