This is just a good feeling old house. It lives well. With each guest it is my hope you enjoy the house and it makes your visit very special. Kitchen has everything. Laundry in basement. Great living space on huge back deck in the warm season. Park your car. And come be a local!

A cute 2 bedroom 1 bath Victorian. Has much of the original wood work and stain-glass, claw bathtub with shower curtain. IF YOU WANT THE LARGE KING BED MADE INTO TWINS PLEASE ASK WHEN BOOKING. New deck with patio heater Nov 2020. 3 lot fenced property, a large deck with flowers and herbs. Guests love the home as soon as they walk in the door. It wraps it's arms around everyone. Please let owner know if you plan to have additional family and or friends visit you at the property. House works best with a 4 person maximum.
Do not want people staying at this home if they are traveling by plane during Covid. If traveling from out of state by car please let me know that you will be very careful.

The house is located in the original town-site. Start your walks right outside the front door. So many pretty houses and yards. One of my favorite walks is to the old train station by the Colorado River. Always discovering something new. Public trails are within a block of house. Trail head to Doc Holliday's grave is just a few minutes walk. A 15 minute walk to the Roaring Fork River for fishing. The 12th street ditch trail is just one block south of the 1903 Victorian great access to trails, bike path and the river. 12th Street ditch used to be the city limits on the south side of Glenwood Springs back when it was a very small town.

Purchased the Glenwood Springs property a few years ago. The mountain cabin rental I've lived off grid at for 17 years. Had almost 20 years of experience with a vacation rental I owned called Casa Anita. In the Mexican town of Puerto Morelos. The casa is still called Casa Anita. I put my heart and soul into that place and plan to do the same here in Glenwood and the cabin on the mountain. Only difference they will be my home when vacant. So you will find a real home in either place you choose to stay. I'm from the valley growing up in Carbondale. I like to hike, go camping bike, ski ranched most of my life. Rode horseback throughout our valley. Rode most areas from Rifle to Independence Pass on the North and South facing slopes of our valley. No longer have horses. When on the mountain usually hiking off the beaten path. I like the old ways and the history of our valley. I come from Colorado pioneer stock on both my mother and father's side. A coal miner and a rancher. Since I was a little girl I've always found the simple things in life create the most happiness. Most definitely like to go with the flow . Being an Airbnb host is a fun way to have a lot of positive experiences with people. I love to travel when I have time and always stay at an Airbnb. My favorite place to visit the past few years is New Orleans. Very friendly people, great food, incredible music by local musicians and amazing Airbnbs! Every trip has been a gift.
