Our cool cabin is a dog-friendly Mid-Century modern A-frame cabin for rent in a woodsy, secluded setting close by DC and Baltimore!! Sleeps 6 in SUPER COMFY beds w/high-quality sheets, pillows & towels. Deck w/Grill & free propane. Modern ultra-stocked kitchen. High speed wifi + work space. Screened-in porch. Free firewood. Basic supplies provided. Hike +golf + swim + ski+ fish + spa + shopping + farm markets nearby. In-home personal cheffing by Chef Adam available. We are Honey House Homes.

Tremendous light from the cabins's the massive A-frame windows + groovy mid-century design and furnishings that melt into the setting | palette of browns and greens and blues. PLANTS!! This house is alive with greenery! Wildlife galore from the picture windows + sounds of nature. Awesome screened in porch with dining and living set for outdoor fun. Please note: you must be mindful that this is a cabin in the woods. There will be wildlife (and bugs). The hot water is great (as is the awesome water-pressure), but everyone can't shower at once. It's glamping!!! If you are unsure about what that means, send me a note. This is RUSTIC + FUNKY + BOUTIQUE-CHIC in the woods.

The neighborhood is awesome. Houses are close enough if there is an emergency but far enough that you won't feel like anyone is on top of you.

We are a husband and wife team, Teddi Segal and Adam Rather.

Our backgrounds:
I am a seasoned real estate and marketing and design professional. I founded my company Honey House in 2014 as a real estate brokerage, staging and design shop, and grew into a specialization of restoring, renovating, designing and selling Victorian homes.

Adam is the co-founder of the restaurant group, Mother’s, (a Baltimore institution) and after a 20-year career as the executive chef, he now works with me at Honey House Homes.

We bought our first house here in WV in November 2020 as a getaway for ourselves and our four dogs. Today we have four wonderful homes in West Virginia that live in at least a day a month, and another house on the mountain nearby on 14 acres - soon to be available for rent when we are not around :). We think its hugely important that we stay in our homes regularly to stay connected to the space, how we can improve it and generally cause we love them all!!! We love opening our homes and our hearts to our guests and treat all of them like family.

We live nearby and are usually available to help out! We have a private storage room below the house and sometimes need to pop over to get stuff out. We don't enter the house and always send a message if we are coming by.
