We believe that our Shepherd's Hut is something really special, located at the Wonderful Wilderness - a spot idyllically positioned between a beautiful forest and acres of farmland. Accessed only by a 4 mile narrow winding road though countryside, the views are unspoilt and simply stunning in every direction. This amazing place is within easy reach of Snowdonia National Park, Lake Vyrnwy, the stunning Barnmouth Beach, Powis Castle, many gorgeous little steam trains and much, much more.

This is our amazing shepherds hut situated in it's own field in the Wonderful Wilderness. If you fancy something different from the norm, but enjoy your comforts, our gorgeous hut is perfect. It sleeps up to 4 people with one double bed and 2 small single beds in a bunk bed style. With plump pillows, duvets and soft bedding provided, you are sure to have a warm and comfortable sleep. The pretty kitchen if filled with all the essentials such as tea, coffee, sugar and milk, juice, butter, jam, eggs, fruit supplied in a cool box, and choice of cereals. You will also have a freshly baked loaf of bread delivered to your door each morning! Either cook inside or outside on the 2 hob camping stove, or, if you are keen on testing your survival skills a little, bring your gear and cook on a campfire in the garden area. For your convenience and to avoid any midnight dashes through the field to a toilet, on-board inside the hut is a cute little cloakroom. Outside you will find a lovely warm shower with shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided. There is also a seating area to enjoy a spot of al fresco dining, or to just sit and relax with a drink and take in the amazing views whilst listening to the river bubbling past. Wonderful!

We are positioned on top of footpaths, bridleways and byways and with the Dyfnant forest on our doorstep, this is a walkers/mountain bikers dream! We have the river Twrch running through our 50 acres of which you are welcome to try your luck at fishing! (As long a you have a valid licence).

The hut is remote and completely off grid! You can drive your car to the hut by way of a dirt track if you wish and park close-by (tight area to turn around), or you can leave it in the carpark and take in the gorgeous views on the short walk to the hut. We are, of course, happy to assist with luggage upon arrival and departure.
