Beautiful old town, only 45 minutes away from the Quinta. Lots of old charm and culture. A must do is visiting the old library of the University of Coimbra. Perfect for lunches and dinners and to discover Portuguese fado!

Coimbra, the medieval university city, is around 40 minutes away. Granted UNESCO world heritage status, Coimbra University is the oldest in Portugal and one of the oldest in Europe.
