Kearney Lake Trail is a rough 1-km (2-km return) trail along the south shore of Kearney Lake in the Halifax Metro region. Parking is available at the Maskwa Aquatic Club. This is a rough-and-tumble trail to challenge even the best hiker, cross-country skier or snowshoer. For the avid hiker, this trail should take approximately 1 hour to complete. This trail provides access to the Blue Mountain Birch Cove Lakes Wilderness Area; trails in transition. In the summer, you can swim at Kearney Lake as well.
