One of my favourite towns in Algarve. Very unspoilt unlike a lot of the towns. Very close to the airport so the beaches are not great but worth a visit and with a lovely national park area for walking and biking.

Tavira is a lovely white town, split in half by the Rio Gilão, to cross the river you can walk the roman bridge and enjoy the view. There are lots of shops and restaurants, but it is also has a beautiful historic center to explore.

Beautiful town close to Faro. It's Island and beach (Ilha de Tavira) are considered by many one of the best beach spot in Algarve
