Simple basic bar frequented by locals, mainly due to the good variety of "bocas" (appetizers). Nothing luxurious, and not really a place for families (although locals sometimes go with their families). The mariachi will show up some nights to offer you live music, $4 dollars for a song or two right beside your table.

This is somewhat of a local cowboy bar. They make bocas (small eats) which rotate daily. Great for a drink and snack. When in Tilaran, I often stop in and have arroz con pollo. Raves for the fried chicken (only available at night)

Tilawa es quizás el bar más emblemático de Tilarán, es sumamente pequeño y simple. Ahí comparten el espacio desde el más adinerado hasta el menos "afortunado". La boca de ceviche de pescado es famosa desde hace décadas.
