Nearby island on the Lake with lots of areas to beach the boat and wade in the water. Its called Goat Island because Georgia Power, which owns the lake, put multiple goats on the island years ago. But after a while they neglected to care for them, see if you can spot a goat still on the island! But if you find them, please don't harm the goat. It's symbol of the originality of Lake Sinclair.
