This is one of the must-see places in Phuket. It is one of the most important and revered landmarks on the island. The huge image sits on top of the Nakkerd Hills between Chalong and Kata and, at 45 metres tall, can be seen from as far away as Phuket Town and Karon Beach.

It's a point of interest that's about 20 mins from the villa. It has an amazing view of Phuket and the Big Buddha is impressive to visit. Make sure to wear cloth with sleeves and pants or skirts that cover your knees or bring a sarong to visit the temple.
