“5 minutes west down the 207. Is a historical house which sits, atop the hill overlooking, Lawrencetown Beach and Stoney Beach. A popular spot for wind and kite surfing. There is a bench on top of the hill so you can enjoy the views. Home to Heron's Nest Tea Room, Kannon Beach Surf shop, and Fancy Lucky Seaside shop. Enjoy lunch at The Heron's Nest Tea Room with a beautiful view, this is local favorite, which has amazing daily specials. It is very popular location for those going to or leaving the beach. On the weekend and holidays, it is recommended that you make reservations. The Fancy Seaside Shop is located in the historic Macdonald House. You can find vintage clothing, locally made crafts and Nova Scotia artwork.”

“Spend a day learning what it was like to be a fisherman at the Fisherman’s Life Museum. The museum is a traditional fisherman’s home from the late 1800’s to the early 1900’s. There is so much to see and do at the museum, and they host monthly events that make visits more special.”
