Famous for the Albert Park lake, the home of the Australian Grand Prix and a great place to walk, exercise or picnic. The lake is approximately 4.5km to walk around and you will see a great view back towards the city skyline. Albert park also is the location of St Vincent gardens which is surrounded by beautiful (and expensive) period homes. The park is in two parts and has beautifully manicured lawns and garden beds combined with large trees for plenty of shade. On sunny days you will see many families enjoying a picnic with a quiet vino to relax. The Village is a must visit for dining out with multiple cuisines all of a high standard. Village wine bar, Ricardo’s, Umami, Albert Park hotel and Dundas & Faussett will keep the most fastidious foodie happy. Andrews’ burgers is rated one of the best in Melbourne and famous for its old school burgers, the size they should be. At the end of Victoria Avenue you will find the beach and a great place to stroll to Port Melbourne or St Kilda. Grab some delicious food, sit on the sand and watch the sunset - Bellissimo.
