This is the best restaurant in Vasto. There’s no menu - you’ll get what’s fresh and in season that day. Expect multiple antipasto dishes, fresh made pasta, and meat from the prominent grill built into the dining room wall. With wine it should be 35-40 euro per person. Very limited English spoken. The building dates to Roman times, though it’s been knocked down and rebuilt several times. This is as genuine a local dining experience as you’ll find.

Beaches
Great sandy beach for families. This is the beach that you can see from the loggia in town. Most of the beach is taken by lidos, meaning you pay for an umbrella and chairs and can purchase refreshments. There is a free public area on the north end of the beach, closest to the city.
