Ramon Cruz and his family run and own a pork restaurant with great views and a Costa Rican family that are so nice to meet you will thank us later. Great views of the Pacific Ocean, trails and night tours offered.

He is a Costa Rican Naturalist/Artist that takes in Nature with a key eye to detail, his work has made waves not only locally, but in various countries around the world. His paintings can be seen in many different art studios around town, but going to his place makes it more special.

It is best to go Frog Pond at dusk and right before the night fall with a flashlight to get the best out of this attraction, each of the live species are in glass enclosed tanks. Educational and worth the visit. Sometime tough to see the frogs and Toads as they can be hiding, but neat to spot.
