San Jose is a good place to look for beaches: El Monsul and Playa de los Genoveses. Both very beautiful. You get there through a pathway, not bad for the car. THere you can park or walk (beautiful routes). San Jose is nice for eating. Kayaking available.

Very beautiful beach, volcanic, nice for snorkeling, isolated inside the park. You must go from San José village, then take a sandy road (good quality) and drive 15min until you reach the beach. Very crowdy on weekends, get there early.
