Kono's is across the street from the Pacific Beach Pier at the end of Garnet. They have a deck behind the gift shop across from them on the pier with a fabulous ocean view looking up the coast to La Jolla. They only take cash and often have a line outside to order. They give generous portions for a reasonable price.

We love to go to Brockton Villa especially for special occasions with its panoramic ocean view up the coast and over the Cove park and snorkeling area. They have great outdoor seating on the patio and deck of this old house turned restaurant. You can walk across the street and watch the seals on the rocks.

They have great outdoor seating on the patio and deck of this old house turned restaurant. You can walk across the street and watch the seals on the rocks.
This is a great place for sushi or fish tacos on the 2nd floor (has elevator) to watch the sunset from. There is a parking lot next to it on the south side of Belmont Park.

Getting around
Without a car, you can get around Pacific Beach on one of our bikes, and if you want to take a look at San Diego there are Trolley tours from Old Town that take you downtown, over to Coronado, through little Italy and Balboa Park. You can get on and off to look around as you like.
If you look up "things to do in San Diego" you'll get an idea of what's available to do and see and can decide how to spend your time.
With a car you can tour around and not lose time and go where the tour doesn't go according to your interests. Uber and lift are also good choices to get you where you want to go.
