Very nice and raw beach between Nazaré and Sao Martinho do Porto. Easy to get by car. Great for walking on sand and for waves watching but dangerous for swimming. There is a school that organizes paraglider and hang glider flights from the top of the mountain, the ideal spot for radical sports. There is a bar next to the parking area.

Vale Furado beach is flanked by a complex of yellowish and reddish clayey cliffs. The erosion in those cliffs is quite marked and presents very unusual shapes, giving this way the name to the beach. The access is very steep, but has been  improved to guarantee the safety of the swimmers. This beach is an excellent choice on very windy days, since the cliff offers a good shelter. There is a bar next to the parking area.
