We have a common rule here : it starts around the Ringwood Clock, on the main Maroondah hwy, everything is loaded with happenings around, till 4am or more, at so many places, so - from there - pick your direction from the Clock, it's called the "crowd" - if you can see it - you can follow it, and - don't plan too much - it doesn't work that way :).

It's hard to say what's more friendly here: people, the dogs, awesomely cute and friendly local ducklings, the perfect walk and run paths around the lake, added with the night fishing opportunities, or the nature.

Whether you go from the gates further down the road, to the river (with your fishing rod or not), or up - to hike up the mountain, and sight seeing of many local animals - this is it. Please drive very slowly by the golf course already (3 min before you hit the park gates - many road passing Kangaroos on the daily basis, coming from the higher ground for the water to drink from the small dams, at the golf course, on your right, just before the gates, otherwise you may hit them by the car.
