An incredible local cafe, with a big range of bread, pastry and dine in menu. Ned's is the perfect combination of European tradition, contemporary vision, classic sophistication, and old-school hospitality that comes from genuine passion. NOt simply bakery or a cafe, Ned's is an experience.

South Melbourne Market is my absolute favorite! My fave way to get there is walk along the beach with the sunrise, but I am an ultra marathoner addicted to sunrise. The tram 96 from Fraser street stop is only few stops to the markets. From delicious food tasting, fresh produce, art, fashion or gifts, the markets have it all. Indulge your self!

This place is locals absolute little gem. If you do travel with children, this cafe is sitting at the edge of a gorgeous playground. If you do not have children, don't be shy! I have met in the cafe all the legends enjoying their breakfast or a lunch. From Sarah Jessica Parker to Rachel Griffiths, you might come across some true icons.

Have you ever thought of doing Fish and Chips on the beach in style? Tables on the sand, friendly menu, cocktails, casual or more fancy, I love this place! With public showers and toilets just on the side, this fancy location is popular for our local families or individuals to go for swim, enjoy the sand lunging and warm days with a fine snack.

The St Kilda breakwater is home to a colony of little (Fairy) penguins. You can see the penguins swim and waddle back to their nests among the rocks of the breakwater nightly all year round at sunset | Today's Sunset Time. Join a Parks Victoria and Earthcare St Kilda led viewing experience of the penguin colony at St Kilda Breakwater. The nightly tours offer a chance to view some of the 1400 penguins that call the breakwater home from a safe distance as they interact with each other preen themselves and depending on the season tend to their young. The meeting point is the gate at the start of the breakwater located at the end of St Kilda Pier next to the kiosk. A Parks Victoria ranger will meet you at your allotted time. Please allow sufficient time for parking and to walk the 500m pier out to the entry area as tours will start promptly and late arrivals may be turned away. The walk to the penguin viewing area is relatively easy however access includes uneven surfaces and two sets of stairs. Please ensure you wear closed footwear and appropriate clothing for all weather conditions. It is often windy and cold at the end of the pier at night. Please respect the area and wildlife Parks and wildlife ask visitors to respect the penguins and their nests by refraining from using camera flashes or bringing glass onto the wooden platform. Interference from humans is one of the top three risks to these protected species. When: Daily Time: Sunset Due to Covid restrictions, you must book your space ahead. https://www.onlymelbourne.com.au/st-kilda-penguins --> No selfie sticks --> No flash photography --> No sitting climbing on nesting rocks --> No touching or handling the penguins (ever) --> No lights torches flashes lasers --> No yelling music or noise --> Do not approach penguins closer than 3m.

If you are traveling with children, I highly recommend Aughtie Drive Playground. It is across the road from the Middle Park Hotel, over the tram line, hiding behind the lawn bowling club. From the playground you will be able to see (or event walk to) the iconic F1 Grand Prix Pit Stops, as they are located just behind the playground. Make sure you cross the Grand Prix track between the playground and Pit Stops, and think of the sound and speed of the Formula 1's! In the off season, the Pit Stops are used for indoor sports such as futsal, basketball, etc.. Further towards the CBD views from the Playground or Pit Stops, you can walk to the Albert Park Lake and spot the beautiful swans families parading their newly hatched cygnets. From the property to the playground is about 15 min walk, adding another 10 to the lake.

You are located at the fringe of the F1 Grand Prix and you should not miss out on walking around the circuit, at least parts of it. Please always ensure you walk off the road, as it is road in use. How to get there: If you cross the road at the Fraser Street traffic lights, walk over the tram tracks and follow the walk way to your left for a minute. The Pit Stops are located almost directly opposite the property, across the footy oval. The Pit Stops in the off season are utilized for an indoor sport such as futsal, basketball, etc.. Few basketball rings are located just outside of them for public. Enjoy the walk, look out for the Eureka Tower beaming among the CBD skyline.
