Not very many visitors know where this beach is. You can hike there along the coast (with good shoes) in about half an hour if you're used to walking and hiking.

Getting Around
Bus pass tip:
DON'T buy the weeklong bus pass at the airport unless you plan to make A LOT of bus trips. Every guest who has bought one has regretted it.
Routes that stop at Luna:
X1 direct from the airport stops here and then continues to the ferry terminal to Gozo at Cirkewwa. It also stops here heading South back to the airport.
41 and 42 North to the ferry terminal in Cirkewwa stop here and heading South to St. Paul's Bay, Mosta and Valletta. The 250 has almost the same route as the 41 and 42 except it doesn't go all the way to the ferry terminal.
It's best to download the Tallija app for your mobile for real-time information.

Beginning November 3, 2018, the Għadira Nature Reserve opens every Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 to 16:00 and at the moment (October 15) there are flamingos there! s about a 15 minute walk along the seaside from here and admission is free.

This is Beach #4 on my list of top beaches nearby, also because of the whack of steps down to it. It has a nice Lido and (check before going) kayak rentals.
