Villa Ribota is a huge, fully-renovated farmhouse with swimming pool among the vines outside of Novello, one of the 11 Barolo villages. Sleeping up to 12 people, it offers 5 big bedrooms, 4.5 spacious, modern bathrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen (refitted this year) and a big living/dining room with fireplace. We are in the peace of the countryside, with breathtaking views, yet just a few minutes' drive from the famous wineries and restaurants of La Morra, Barolo, Novello and Monforte.

A large, fully-renovated 5-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom farmhouse with its own swimming pool and garden, offering plenty of space for up to 12 people to relax and unwind among the beautiful Barolo vines.
The house is immersed in the peace and quiet of the Langhe countryside, right among the famous vines, with breathtaking views across the hills towards the snow-capped Alps. Yet it is just a few minutes' drive from the famous wineries, wine bars, local trattorie and Michelin-starred restaurants of Novello, La Morra, Barolo and Monforte d'Alba. You can follow well-marked walking trails through the vines which run directly from the garden to nearby wineries, restaurants and local villages.

Bedroom One
Downstairs with direct access to the garden and swimming pool. Vaulted ceilings and an en-suite bathroom with shower and bath tub. It has a double bed (US King size) with space to add another single bed or crib if needed.
Bedroom Two
Upstairs, in the former hayloft area, this is a huge room, with high ceilings and massive picture windows, with views of the pool, vines and mountains. It has a double bed (180cm, US King size). A further single bed or crib can be added if needed.
Bedroom Three
Also in the old hayloft, offers views to the east, straight through the vines. Has a two single beds (each 90cm wide) or can be set up with one double bed (180cm, US King).
Bedrooms Two and Three share a very large modern bathroom with double sinks, walk-in shower and bath tub.
Bedroom Four
Large room with access to the balcony and en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower. It has a double bed (180cm, US King) and a further single bed or crib can be added if needed.
Bedroom Five
Balcony access and private (not ensuite) bathroom. It has two single beds (each 90cm wide) or can be set up with a double bed (180cm, US King).

Fully-equipped, just bring some food and you're good to go!

- By staying with us, you are doing your bit for the environment! Up to 100% of our daytime energy is provided by solar power. Hot water is also provided by solar, and on the rare occasion the sun isn’t out, the heating and hot water come from wood pellets, a sustainable source of energy.
The house is perfect for families and groups of friends. The area is a paradise for wine and food lovers, with hundreds of great wineries and restaurants. We are happy to help you plan where to visit and what to do! You can even arrange a cooking lesson, or private chef at the Villa.
We often welcome cyclists and walkers. The road cycling around the house is spectacular and we can help you plan routes (there are several in our digital guide). The mountain biking is pretty good too if that's your thing! There is a lockable storeroom where you can keep your bikes. For walkers, you can head straight from the garden into the vines, where two footpaths take you to Novello in about half an hour, and then on to La Morra, Barolo or Monforte d'Alba. Maps are available and we are always happy to help.
There are cycle, e-bike and Vespa hire companies who will deliver to the house.
The house sleeps 10 people in five bedrooms, though there are two further single beds and two cribs that can be added to any of the rooms, bringing the total number to 12, including children. If you are more than 10 (excluding children under the age of 6), there is a supplement of 10 Euros per night for the 11th and 12th guests.

We have also created a new digital housemanual and guidebook, which you will have access to as soon as you book. It contains everything you need to know about the Villa and the local area and will help you plan for your time here.
Since December 2017, the property is rented as a "Locazione Turistica" or private villa rental. This is regulated by Articolo 1571 e seguenti del Codice Civile, dall'articolo 4 del DL 50/2017 convertito con Legge n. 96/20, dall'art 1, comma 2 lett c0. della legge 9 dicembre 1998 n. 431 nonché dall'art 53 del Codice del Turismo, D.Lgs. 79/2011.
