Located in downtown historic Charleston near upper King St. and MUSC. The majestic 1852 Ashley Inn B&B features grand verandas, comfortable guest rooms, beautiful views and great location to explore the city.

This third floor suite sleeps 4 guests and has one queen bed and one queen pullout sofa.

Our private parking lot include space for 1 vehicle and is first come first served.

Pet policy: As much as we love the four-legged members of your family, we do not allow pets at this property.

This suite sleeps 4 and has a queen bed and a queen sofa bed with high quality linens, one renovated private bathroom with walk in shower and luxury amenities.

We provide wifi, flat screen tv with cable, mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker with local coffee and tea. You will also have access to common grand room and the ice machine located on the second floor (you must access this through the front door, not directly from your room).

Keypad locks provide convenient and seamless check-in.

In-room smart tablet provides our guests with weather and traffic updates, local recommendations, speaker and noise machine.

Guide books and our local city suggestions are stocked in each room. Our team is also just a phone call or text away to help with any needs or issues during your stay.

What do we love about this neighborhood? Everything!

Each house is unique. The culinary scene for which the Charleston has become so famous is just steps away. Xiao Bao Biscuit, The Grocery, The Ordinary, 492, Chez Nous, Cannon Green, Trattoria Lucca, Stars, and Fuel (from Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives) are all just around the corner - among countless others. The fantastic restaurants and nightlife of Upper King Street are close enough to walk but far enough to not keep you up all night.

After spending the first 20 years of his career growing businesses supporting the military, he decided to rent a bedroom out of his home in 2016. Since that single bedroom nearly 6 years ago, he has grown his portfolio into several businesses owning investment short-term rentals both alone and with partners, as well as managing a portfolio of 40+ listings and 100+ bedrooms for clients to help them meet their long-term investment property goals.

He loves supporting his clients, growing their investments and hosting thousands of guests as they visit the greater Charleston, SC and Gatlinburg, TN through his property management companies, Coastal Vacation Properties and Curated Vacation Properties.

Josh is marrying his best friend in 2022. They recently moved to their first home in Mount Pleasant to continue building their life together with their two cats and their two pocket beagles. They can be found on weekend mornings with their pups running the beaches at the world’s most relaxing open-dog hours at Sullivans Island.
