This is our home away from home in the desert. We ask that you take care of it as you would your home. The City of Palm Springs has a few rules to keep the peace with the neighbors. We didn't make up these rules, but we comply with them to keep our rental license in good standing with the City. We request that you agree to these rules. Entry will be denied if guest does not comply with the below rules.

IF GUEST OR ANY MEMBER OF THE RENTAL PARTY VIOLATES ANY OF THE TERMS OF THE RENTAL AGREEMENT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE GOOD NEIGHBOR POLICY, MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY, VISITORS AND RENTAL RULES AND RESTRICTIONS, USE OF THE PREMISES FOR PROSTITUTION, GAMBLING, LEWDNESS, ILLEGAL SALE OF ALCOHOL, OR ILLEGAL POSSESSION OR SALE OF DRUGS, OWNER MAY EVICT GUEST AND THE RENTAL PARTY FROM THE PROPERTY AND GUEST WILL FORFEIT ALL RENT AND SECURITY DEPOSIT PAID.

The city of Palm Springs has one of the most detailed vacation rental policies in the nation, designed to keep the peace with the neighbors. They may seem a little strict, but really they're not too bad, and we've never had any complaints from neighbors or guests.

To summarize:

1. We have full-time residents as neighbors, so please:
-Maintain respectful voice volumes when outdoors
-No outdoor amplification/speakers (music, tv, movies)

2. Occupancy
-No more than four adults and two children (age twelve or below) on-premises
-No more than two cars total allowed on the street or driveway

3. Contract Requirements. Person booking must:
-Be over 26
-Provide a copy of a government-issued ID
-Include names of all adults staying at the home
-Provide vehicle information (if you park at the house)
-Sign a contract acknowledging these rules

4. In-person check-in with our property manager, where all adults sign the Rules and Regulations page stating that you have read and understood the Palm Springs Good Neighbor Policy.

5. Do not put any trash on the street--please only use the bins provided.

A NOTE ABOUT PAYMENTS:

There is an additional fee for heating the pool and spa. You are not required to heat the pool or spa, and since it is optional, it is not taxed.

Winter Rates (October to May): Pool Heat $75/day and Spa Heat $15/day.

Summer Rates: (June to September) Pool Heat $50/day and Spa Heat $15/day.

SECURITY:

For your safety and our security, the house perimeter is monitored by cameras. Because we respect your privacy, we DO NOT have any cameras inside the house or in the backyard (We have a camera pointed at the pool equipment and driveway, which does not cover any private backyard areas. We also have a Ring doorbell camera which only alerts us when someone rings the doorbell.)

IF ANY PERSON IN THE RENTAL PARTY VIOLATES ANY OF THE RENTAL RULES AND RESTRICTIONS OR GOOD NEIGHBOR POLICY RULES, THE RENTAL PARTY MAY BE SUBJECT TO IMMEDIATE EVICTION AND FORFEITURE OF YOUR STAY AND DEPOSIT, PLUS A $1000 FINE FROM THE CITY.
