We are surrounded by nature.The property sits on the edge of the forest in the little hamlet of Chapinheira.Walks through the forest are abundant and the views are magnificent . Nearby, swimming is available at the local river beaches.
There are cafes, restaurants and bars in the local towns, Gois is a pretty little town with lovely picnic sites by the river and a very popular annual motor bike rally. The beautiful and impressive university town of Coimbra is a short drive away and also easily accessible are the well preserved Roman ruins of Conimbriga.and the unspoilt surfer friendly beaches of the Silver Coast.

I live with my husband and retired from the UK to Portugal 5 years ago . We love the glorious outdoor space and relaxed lifestyle. Animal welfare is very important to me and I dedicate a lot of my time to a local organisation that protects and rescues animals in need. As a result I appear to have acquired a large family of well behaved dogs , cats and chickens. In addition to animal care I also
support fund raising and work on our Trap Neuter and Release programme
The reward is seeing the animals move on to a new and safe life . As well as a lover of animals I am a keen walker/ cyclist and tend to either make cycling and walking an integral component of any holiday experience. I love travelling meeting new people and having new experiences. The things that are most important to me involve respecting other people, animals and the environment we live in.
