Welcome to this cozy 1 bedroom condo apartment in the quiet hamlet of Fairmont Hot Springs.

Situated conveniently close to the many seasonal recreational opportunities in the Columbia Valley and only 20 minutes from Invermere.

This vacation home is suitable for 1 or 2 guests only.

To keep your cost down, I do not charge a cleaning fee. Please help to keep it this way by leaving the place clean and tidy on departure. Thank you :)

A private entry from the patio provides access to this vacation apartment, which offers an open plan living, dining and kitchen area and a comfortable separate bedroom with a King Size bed and ample closet space. There is a large bathroom adjoining the bedroom with an over-sized soaker tub (please note that the water jets in the tub do not function) amazing views of the Fairmont Range.

There is an electric fireplace and baseboard heating and a window mounted air-conditioning unit to keep you comfortable in all seasons.

The apartment is available for a maximum of two persons only. There is a fold-out bed available in the living room for separate sleeping arrangements if required. If you wish to use this please let your host know in advance at time of booking. Please note this facility is not available to use for additional persons to stay in the unit.

The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you could require for your stay. There is an adjoining laundry with a new washer & dryer (installed January 2021). The laundry is shared with your host only.

The private patio area is accessed from the common walkway in front of the unit and provides plenty of room to sit outside on warm summer evenings an end enjoy the view of the evening light on the Fairmont Range of the Canadian Rockies.

Fairmont Hot Springs is located in the Columbia Valley in the Canadian Rockies between the Purcell and Rocky Mountains. The Columbia Valley is an outdoor adventurer’s dream with so many opportunities for outdoor recreation, spectacular views and life-long memories to take home.

There is an abundance of year-round sports and activities. In the spring, summer and fall enjoy golfing, kayaking, hiking, ATV tours, horseback riding and mountain biking. If you like some quiet fishing time, cast a line for mountain whitefish, burbot, kokanee, rainbow trout, bull trout and cutthroat trout. In the winter there are 3 ski resorts within an hour drive and 8 within a 2 hour drive as well as x-country skiing, snowmobile tours, winter fat biking and the world-famous Whiteway with 30 km of maintained skating surface.

After your adventures there is the choice of amazing hot mineral pools where you can relax and soak in the heat at Fairmont Hot Springs, Radium Hot Springs or the remote and natural Lussier Hot Springs.

Your host Chris, lives full-time in the apartment next door to the vacation property. Chris is usually available to greet you on arrival and to assist if you have any requests or require assistance however your privacy and your peaceful enjoyment of the property is fully respected and assured during your stay.

Chris has lived in the Columbia Valley for ten years and works as a self-employed landscape and real estate photographer. Until recently he was a full-time guide with a nearby ATV & Snowmobile tour company. If you require information about activities, adventures and recreation opportunities in the area he will be happy to assist.

Please note: There is a motion activated security camera in the adjacent main entry vestibule which serves two units and is also the laundry area. This camera does not monitor the entry door of the Airbnb unit. Guests would only activate it if using the laundry.
