Gruene Homestead Inn is a collection of historic houses in the community of New Braunfels, featuring rooms and suites dating from the 1850's to the early 1900's.
The Faust House is the flagship of the 8-acre homestead and was originally located in the downtown area of New Braunfels. Today it sits fully restored on the main Homestead property after being moved three times during its almost 1OO years of existence.
The Farmhouse is the original "homestead" on the property and was constructed in a traditional colonial German style known as "fachwerk."
The Texas House and the Rose Cottage are similar to each other in history and style as both were constructed in the 1890's as part of Comal Town on the Comal River. These houses were moved from their original locations on Union Street in the late 1990's.
The Country House was originally part of the Landa Ranch, has been completely renovated and updated, and now offers four unique guest suites.
The Silo is essentially a 1 bedroom loft apartment built into a 1940's grain silo. This guest unit has an upscale feel and is quite a unique lodging experience.
