Hello, I'm Debby. And the guy in the picture next to me, well that is Dion. I call him hubby. We have been married for 25 years. Together, we have 8 children and 24 grandchildren. Our children from a mixed marriage have all moved out and half of our home is empty now. We don't want to move to a smaller home because we need the space when family comes to visit. Besides, we love this home and it is a great neighborhood with easy access to the freeway. Consequently, we thought we would section off the part of the house and give Airbnb a try.

When our children were home, we road tripped everywhere. We often stayed with relatives; hotels were just too expensive. If we didn't have a relative or a camp ground in an area, we often didn't go. I only wish Airbnb was around then. There was so much to see in Idaho, Oregon, Utah, California, Nevada and Washington and all within driving distance. When we took our first trip to Texas, we decided we better fly next time; that was a long drive. Now that we've seen the Northwest and are getting a little spoiled flying, we ventured out to France last year and road tripped from one end to the other. It was a wonderful experience and we hope to go back.

Our goals are (1) to provide a suite as nice as the home we live in, (2) keep travel costs affordable, and (3) put away a little extra in our retirement account.
