Set amid beautiful old-growth birch trees and close to the shores of Trout Lake, the eight room motel built in 1964 has large, authentic mid-century rooms featuring a large picture window with a perfect view of the lake, two double beds with a sitting area, desk, dresser and period accouterments.
Air-conditioned guest rooms feature original bed frames with luxurious bedding and original furnishings in fabulous condition, along with carefully curated art pieces. Thoughtful details such as an honor bar, beverage accessories, flat screen satellite televisions, and reading materials are also in each room. Bathrooms feature quirky brown mosaic floor tile and a tub/shower combination. Original floor and wall tile are combined with modern luxury bath amenities such as spa toiletries, thick cotton towels and robes to make the experience authentic and modern at the same time.
