This is a quiet, family-friendly place in an amazing location: right on the beach, at the base of a (dormant!) volcano and at the tip of Central America’s largest estuary (Estero Padre Ramos). We have a restaurant that serves super fresh meals and a beachfront Tiki Bar, a very pushy parrot, great surfing right out front (and up the beach at El Toro). Many places SAY they are secluded but trust us...you may be the only person surfing for miles. A special place to meditate and practice yoga.

Your balcony has a hammock and chairs. The restaurant has plenty of seating and the Tiki Bar is honor system (paradise!). The beach is long, flat, and deserted most of the time.

Mechapa is a sleepy fishing village that sometimes throws a rocking party on the weekends. We’re on 22 acres so there is plenty of room to roam. There aren’t any other hotels or restaurants in the area but you can buy snacks and veg at the local “pulpería” or General Store. We have Central America’s first and only Pickleball Court.
