Idyllic 17th Century country cottage situated in a stunning location in the Ribble Valley near the lovely market town of Clitheroe and The Forest of Bowland, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This award-winning and well-equipped self-catering cottage accommodates 2 persons max in double en-suite bedroom. Biojet whirlpool bath, power shower, electric heating and woodburning stove plus free Wifi. Ideal base for touring and for a peaceful, relaxing stay.

The double en-suite bedroom has exposed oak beams, electric blanket, hairdryer, radio/alarm, TV, and tea/coffee making facilities.

Alden Cottage is situated down a short tarmacked track and has ample off-road parking. The cottage is adjacent to the owner's house and guests are welcome to use the rear garden, outdoor dining table and recliners on the terrace.

Although a Southerner by birth, I have lived in the glorious Ribble Valley for the last forty years.
