Once the largest house on the lake. My place is close to great views, family-friendly activities, and restaurants. You’ll love my place because of the coziness, the views, and the location (desirable Winter Harbor). The dock can house two boats (one small and one standard boat up to 22 ft long). The grassy area next to the house is fabulous for playing games with your kids/grandchildren. While there is no beach it is shallow enough for young children. Fabulous for a getaway or a family reunion.

Escape the confines of your home / apartment in the city for a relaxing time by the water. Our property offers lots of outdoor time from swimming to hanging out on the grass. The property allows for everyone to have their own space which may be just what your family needs right now!

We have a deck, a screened in porch, a gazebo, dock, raft and parking for 4 cars and a boat trailer. 3 bathrooms! There is a full bathroom upstairs, a half bath off the living room and a private half bath in the hallway of bedroom 5, which is a perfect room for teens or anyone looking to use as few stairs as possible as it's off the kitchen and the only bedroom on the first floor.

Bedroom 6 can only be accessed via the master bedroom. It is a converted sleeping porch. Has a TV with VHS and DVDs. Many Disney, Pokémon movies provided as well as some movies for the adults in your group like Gone With The Wind. Futon allows you to use the space for extra sleeping or as a den. A private line completes the room and makes it ideal for making business calls for those working remote.

We are family friendly with child locks, a raft, game room, yard and other great amenities. The gazebo down at the dock is great for staying out of the sun and a fantastic space for lunch.

Our wet bar is on the screened in porch. Many of our guests love to have happy hour here with some martinis, mojitos, old fashioneds, wine and beer. There is a wine rack!

Winter harbor is a great part of the lake. Quick and easy to get to town by boat or car. We are shielded from the broads making it one of the calmer parts of the lake. Carry beach is in the harbor but not very accessible via boat. The Libby Museum is great for people of all ages. There is a scavenger hunt for children with prizes. Learn about the animals in the area! Just a 5 minute walk away. It’s here that you’ll put your boat in the water. Need ideas for your stay? Just ask!

A note from the owners:

Our lake house, officially named Camp Redruffe, was owned by an elderly fisherman who had raised his family here, before becoming our summer home in 1960.

It is one of the few original lake houses left in Winter Harbor and we have tried to maintain its charm and character throughout the years. Our parents worked to make sure this was a warm and inviting home where all are welcome. We hope you you enjoy making memories here just as our families have done and continue to do so over the years.
