This is definitely marked off my bucket list. Definitely memorable every way.. and You Get to wear a Kimono and learn about the tea ceremony. You also get to partake and make your own tea. Everything is thoughtful. Make sure your battery is charged up to take pictures. The host also takes pictures of you. Make sure you practice kneeling and sitting on your knees.

Wow what a cool experience! A really beautiful location, a beautiful traditional house with a pretty garden. We both got to dress in Kimonos and take photos before and after the tea ceremony. The tea ceremony itself was beautifully done, and it was quite a peaceful and meditative experience for us! We really felt the zen vibes here, and I think this is a must do experience if you're visiting Kyoto. Super lovely experience! Highly recommend :)

I can 100% recommend for anybody wanting to wear kimono, learn some history, and participate in a tea ceremony without worrying about making mistakes in a relaxed environment. The location is magical, and the hosts’ extremely welcoming. I have lived in Japan for 2 years, yet still learned a lot - it was great!
