I sailed San Francisco Bay!
Please reach out for custom dates! Welcome aboard a large sailboat, a Downeaster 38. Designed by renowned naval architect, Henry Morschlad, this Downeaster is in exceptionally good condition. Downeaster's are known as being stout and seaworthy bluewater cruisers. They can be found all over the globe. This experience is available for up to six guests and great for groups and team building. Your three-hour adventure starts at Jack London Square. The route will depend on wind conditions; however, our goal is to cross the bay to see the marvelous sites of South Beach Harbor (home of the SF Giants), the financial district, the bay bridge, and then Treasure Island. During the tour, you'll see amazing wildlife; including, flocks of pelicans, sea lions, and the occasional dolphin! This is an active experience! I will review the basics of sailing (wind angle, general terms for operating the vessel, and rules of the road). You will take a turn at the helm (wheel), manage the sheets that control the sails, and raise and lower the sails. Naturally, you are also welcome to just sit back and enjoy the amazing views.

Learn what it takes to be a Pizzaiolo
We're back! It was a long two years. All that's needed now is your hands, your passion, and a little guidance from us and you'll be making and eating exceptional pizza. First we'll make some dough and...and eat a little pizza. I'll teach you about the importance of time and temperature, about different yeasts and how to make biga or poolish (and even what those words are and why you will want to care). Once the dough is out of the spiral mixer we'll practice shaping it into balls. Oh... it's recess... gotta eat some pizza. Next we'll practice what is probably the hardest yet funnest part of all.... opening up a Neapolitan pizza ball. You'll learn to massage the dough, so the air moves outward toward the edge - otherwise known as the cornicione. Now, take a moment , have some pizza. You deserve it. Then you'll learn to dress the pizza and then then place it into the wood-fired oven. There's no turning back now. In 90 seconds your pizza will be finished. We'll practice this over and over using the same techniques I learned from a world champion. This will be the best class ever because you get to eat your homework!
Best of Berkeley History Walking Tour
Hear about the history and culture that makes Berkeley one of the most famous cities in the world. We'll stroll safely through campus and the surrounding areas. This activity is 100% outdoors, and attendance is limited so the conversation can flow more easily. We'll meet just inside the Paris Baguette Cafe at 2150 Shattuck Avenue, next to the downtown Berkeley BART station. We'll learn about Berkeley's downtown area, then cross through UC Berkeley's campus alongside tree-lined Strawberry Creek. We'll pass by the Free Speech Cafe and talk about Berkeley's protests. Finally, we'll walk the historic route from Sproul Plaza to People's Park. Afterward you can shop for one-of-a-kind jewelry and t-shirts on Telegraph Avenue. A number of restaurants are now open, so you can grab some lunch. Other things to note: This is a history-focused tour, but the topics we cover during our walk are flexible based on everyone's interests. Please be sure to tell Pam what topics you are most interested in and she can also adjust at any point in the tour based on the questions and topics that guests bring up as we stroll from downtown Berkeley to People's Park. Please wear comfortable walking shoes. I also recommend sunscreen and cash for refreshments and street artists. There are lots of great options for lunch and activities after the tour.
Secluded dinner and seranade on sailboat

You will be left to enjoy a unique experience of watching the birds of the estuary play and possibly get lucky with a sea lion sighting! With an open view of the water and no other diners around you can feel comfortable having a unique covid safe excluded and memorable experience to a specially curated dreamy pirate soundtrack! Sunset in the bay is magical, you'll enjoy taking photos of the water you are floating upon. As the sun goes down I will turn on the kerosine lamp, sing you a couple more tunes and conclude with some hot cocoa. Macaron making with a Master Chef - Oakland
Macarons are incredibly popular, pricey and one of the most difficult pastries to master. When I started, it took months of trial and error with the recipe, preparation, baking and temperatures. You begin with learning what a great macaron is and then exactly how to create them from scratch. All the tips and tricks and common pitfalls are discussed. The idea and aim is that you should be able to create beautiful macarons at home! We create macarons from the 4 basic ingredients and discuss how your macaronage (macaron batter) should look when it is ready to be piped. We move on to how to perfectly pipe your macarons and how they should feel when properly cured and ready for the oven. Do not worry if you have never used a piping bag - I will teach you how! We then fill our macarons discussing flavors, others types of fill. In all, about 1.5 to 2 hours of solid, professional instruction. You will leave with a full dozen macarons!
Explore Oakland's streetart and graffiti

For locals this walk is an easy way to slow down and spend some quality time with the streetart you pass on errands or the way to work. For folks new to Oakland, this walk is a great way to see architecture, local shops, and art in several neighborhoods. This 2.5 mile walk starts in Old Oakland continuing to Chinatown then up though Lakeside and ending near the Cathedral building in Downtown Oakland. **Feel free to request a date or time that's not listed.**
Comedy Oakland, Little Club, Big Laughs
You will be watching a live Standup Comedy show featuring some of the best comedians from San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. I curate and book the shows with my 2 co-producers, so the comedians are hand selected and some of the best in the business. The show lasts about 90 minutes. The comedians are as diverse as the city itself and no comic performs more than 15 minutes, so you get a good taste of a variety of comedy in a single night. After the show you can take pictures or talk to the comedians, many of our guests love taking pictures with comedians in front of our iconic backdrop. You can hang out with the comedians and other attendees in the bar lounge. Other things to note Food and drinks are available but there is no drink minimums.
